What We Do

Our Mission

Our Mission is to provide the highest quality food in the form of artisanal handcrafted pizza using only organic ingredients including a three-day fermented dough along with farm fresh and locally grown ingredients. In addition, our wood-fired oven recreates a way of baking that is historically relevant and sustainable, and most importantly, recreates how pizza used to be made, thus elevating our pizzas to be worthy of goddesses!

Pizza is Love

Sharing the Fun

Because our pizza making is interactive, we hope to share our love of locally sourced products and food with each and every community we work with, and to teach people how to make handcrafted pizzas!

Welcome to Goddess Pizza!

“People eat with their eyes first,” so we focus on the presentation! One of the most exciting parts of live-fire cooking makes Goddess Pizza unlike any other food truck in that it is an interactive experience – this is designed to teach people how to create and bake their own specialized pizzas! Our pizzas are baked until their underside have the telltale “leopard speckling” – in all of an amazing 90-seconds! We love the authentic feel of our wood fired oven, and the delicious pizza our oven creates!! We use organic, locally sourced farm fresh produce and top of the line meats and cheeses as well as using a 00 flour for our dough. Because we use our slow cooking methods; such as a three day fermentation and a sour dough starter, our doughs have a wonderful old world texture and a well developed flavor.

Judy Saler

As a teacher of culinary art classes at Brookline High School for the last 19 years, I work as a chef and caterer running my woodfired pizza oven, Goddess Pizza, when I'm not spending time with my students. We specialize in catered events and parties as well as cooking lessons, beginning with baking in our very own woodfired oven. I make sure we always buy the best organic farm sourced local food available in Massachusetts. It’s a great thing to see how your food is prepared; we bake your pie right in front of you. Please give Goddess Pizza a try!

Our Process

Our dough is made using a three-day cold fermentation process. We start with 100% Molina Caputo flour, indisputably the world’s best, and a natural sourdough starter for our pizza dough. San Marzano tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, and sprigs of fresh herbs make up the ingredients in our special sauce. We top our pizzas with as many local, natural and/or organic vegetables as is feasible. During the final prep stage, the pizzas are then placed on an organic brown rice floured wooden peel and placed into the oven!
